Dunfermline Abbey
In the centre of a town that used to be Scotland's capital stands Dunfermline Abbey. The Abbey is considered one of Scotland's most cultural sites having received more royal dead than almost any other place in Scotland (apart from Iona). It is still used for services and, if visiting over Christmas, the Watch Night Service is spectacular in all its historic glory. But what makes this Abbey so significant to Scotland's history?
